Can you believe it has been almost a year since Kim Kardashian-West went full-frontal for the cover of Paper magazine? I swear the images have imprinted themselves on my brain. Can. Not. Un-see.
This September, the covers are somewhat more sophisticated, seeing two of fashions most celebrated designers team up with celebrities.
The first cover, which happens to be my favourite, was shot by Nicolas Moore and sees Jennifer Lopez decked out in Balmain, with the fashion house's creative director Olivier Rousteing. Rousteing has become a celebrity in his own right, thanks to endless Instagram snaps with the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Rob and Mariel were the styling duo behind this cover.
The second cover features the creative genius behind Moschino, Jeremy Scott. Yep, this is the man you need to thank for the MacDonalds and Barbie phone cases, clutches, purses etc. It's actually quite a surprise, and somewhat refreshing, to see that Jeremy wasn't shot with his muse Katy Perry (Katy is currently the face of the Moschino). Instead Paper chose rising K-Pop star CL. This cover was shot by Marcus Mam and styled by Liz Barrois.
I'm kind of hoping that more covers will appear over the next dew days - I looove stuff like this! Who wouldn't want to see a Tom Ford/Beyoncé cover?
