Drama 1 - What to wear for the airport.
Who knew that deciding what to wear to the airport would be such a task? You want to look chic, but also like you haven't tried too hard. Sounds easy... but it isn't. You think your look is down, then a fellow passenger looks just like an off duty model.
If it was me, I'd wear a white shirt and loose fit jeans. First of all, you can't beat them for comfort. Second of all, it's a timeless look that ensures your look is on point. Add a bit of luxury to your look with designer accessories in complimentary tones: below I've suggested Ray Bans, a Christian Dior Tote and Valentino flats. After all, if your plane lands on water, you need to leave heels behind. It's not worth the risk.
Drama 2 - A day at the beach.
Once you finally get on holiday and your boyfriend is dragging you to the beach, the next nightmare begins. On holiday, you can't beat white and tan. Team that with blue and you have the perfect colour combo. This bikini by Proenza Schouler is modern and will suit a variety of body types. I like the idea of matching your nails to your bikini and this shade by Nars is perfect. Simply add Valentino sunglasses and Ray Bans and you're set!
Drama 3 - Staying cool whilst sightseeing.
If like me you like to take in a bit of culture whilst you're away, the best way to do it is spend a day getting lost around the city. A basic dress you can throw on will ensure you stay cool in the heat. Simply add some colour to your accessories to steer clear of your look becoming boring. I love this Louis Vuitton messenger bag - perfect for carrying you camera, room key and sun cream - what else do you need? Try and avoid overly strappy sandals: tan lines.
Drama 4 - The big night out.
Every holiday, you're waiting for your other half to take you out that one night for a fancy meal and really chic cocktails that you can post all over your Instagram. Nothing says chic like a black outfit with a red lip. I'm obsessed with this backless Tom Ford dress and Louboutin heels. Simply add some statement earrings and Givenchy clutch and you're good to go. If this isn't a proposal outfit, I don't know what is!
Obviously, there has been quite a few designer pieces in this post. Take it as inspiration! My guess is Zara/ASOS have amazing versions of most of the above pieces!
