H&M Studio, AW15.

The H&M Studio collection for Autumn/Winter 2015 is here! After almost eight months since its trip down the catwalk, the collection is finally here, and it's just as beautiful as I remember. This, the third catwalk outing for the H&M design team was a spectacle to say the least: a 'mix of celestial yearnings and earthbound functionality' all brought together by an undeniable 70s influence.

It wasn't only the collection that was a standout, the casting of the show was equally as impressive. Media moguls Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid led the way, amongst catwalk veterans Joan Smalls, Liu Wen, Edie Campbell and Constance Jablonski. Casting director John Pfeiffer stated that '[the models] bring with them exactly the qualities we look for: modernity, strength, elegance and a cool factor.'

The mix of textures, prints, embroidery and appliqué made the collection something truly special. For me there were several stand out pieces from the collection (images below). Trousers that looked laser cut, teamed with an oversized grey knit was the first look that caught my eye. Next, a winter white satin blazer over a roll neck and slouchy suit pants. Cindy Bruna looked sensational in a sequin bell-sleeved top and Edie rocked a dégradé jumper tucked into a leather(ette?) dungarees - Incred. I also love the geometric print in the penultimate midi dress, and Kendall Jenner's heavily appliquéd jumper and cap.

What are everyone's thoughts on this 'out of this world' collection? For me, it's their strongest yet and I can't wait for the next instalment!
