Bottega Veneta SS15.

I seem to have a certain taste for fuss-free collections this season. Gone are the days where overly embellished gowns got my juices flowing: I'm all about clean, simple pieces that are beautiful, but also wearable. Over in New York it was The Row, and now in Milan it's Bottega Veneta by Tomas Maier.

The show was opened by Brit-model Edie Campbell, in a jersey one piece and luxurious pebble-grey knit. The look was accompanied by a classic Bottega woven tote bag. Jersey and knitwear was a huge trend for the entire collection and the pieces wouldn't look out of place on any Hampton's housewife next Summer.

Duster coats seem to be here to stay, and the lemon yellow offering Bottega provided is the perfect way to make this wardrobe essential a great transitional piece in to Spring/Summer. Model of the moment, and reality TV royalty, Kendall Jenner also hit the Bottega runway in an elegant black, floor-length wrap dress, perfect for a day of city-sightseeing.

The final look I loved was an off-white dress with metallic detailing down the front in copper, azure and gold tones. The detailing was broken up by a belt loosely tied at the waist - a great way to make such a formal dress slightly more casual.

Another beautiful collection of simple, wearable pieces. This needs to be the next huge trend in ladies fashion.
