The Row SS15.

Perhaps anything with the Olsen name attached to it is going to be successful. This season however, Mary-Kate and Ashley absolutely excelled themselves with a elegant yet understated collection featuring new and effortlessly chic silhouettes.

The collection, made entirely from raw silk, was presented in an almost bare New York warehouse - there was nothing there to distract from the perfect clothes. Like previous collections from Celine, the Olsen twins experimented with wrapping in this collection. As a result of the elegant wrapping, there was not a button, fastening or zip insight.

The neutral colours of the collection were only complimented by the soft browns used in the make-up palette. The hair was perfectly blow-dried hair, and left to fall into a centre parting.

Collection highlights for me included: the gold dress with wrap detailing across the front that opened the show, a copper shirt and skirt outfit with bishop sleeves and an amazing wrap around navy shirt with cropped cigarette pants.

So far, this has been my favourite of the SS15 collections. I think nowadays simplicity has never been so crucial to a brand's success and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have certainly proved that with this beautiful collection.
